Purposeful Eating

When I first started presenting the evidence as to why a WFPB (Whole-Food, Plant- Based) diet is so important to our healing, I was simply happy to know that our
members were making the switch. Over the last few years of discussing diet with our various members, however, one issue has come to light. Far too many
members are following a WFPB diet while only focusing on providing fuel/calories
for their bodies, thinking that as long as you’re eating plant-based that you are
healing. Well, that’s true, to an extent.
Eating WFPB, organic whenever possible, with absolutely no processed sugars is
proven to be healing for our bodies, particularly when compared to the carnivore,
keto and/or processed food type diets many followed previously. However, it is still
what I call passive eating. I would love it if each of you could take WFPB to the next
level. Take it to what I call purposeful eating.
With purposeful eating, you are not only asking yourself - Is this part of a WFPB
diet? Is this organic? You are also asking yourself - What are the cancer-healing
properties of this food I am about to eat? If it doesn’t have much value, please
consider switching it out for something which does. For example, here is a food
value chart of my favorite black bean burger recipe.

Note: this is just for the burger and does not yet include the values for the all the
fixings one typically has with a burger.
As you can see, that burger is packed with cancer-healing properties and is
something you can feel good about including in your diet. To help you with this, I will
be preparing a food value chart for each recipe as I prepare recipes to include in our
upcoming website . Eventually I hope to prepare a master food value chart so it will
be easy for you to choose, at a glance, which foods you wish to include in your meal
plan. But, please don’t wait for me to do it. In the meantime, please consider doing
some basic research on the foods which you find yourself eating on a regular basis.
(Many of them you may already find information on by making use of our Search
box.) If you discover that some of your go-to foods are not actively helping your body
heal, please start looking for better options.
